    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    warehouse worker for a 1st shift associate position. The role involves processing orders and moving boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. This position is physically demanding, requiring manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. Flexibility with a start time between 7:30 am and 8:00 am from Monday to Friday is essential.

     

    1st shift: 7:30am

     

    $20/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Scan boxes accurately.

    + Perform precise order pulling while meeting productivity metrics.

    + Maintain attention to detail.

    + Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.

    + Work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes across various surfaces.

    + Lift and move boxes, read labels, and manage both incoming and outgoing orders.

    + Utilize the proprietary computer system to track orders and locate boxes.

    + Operate a handheld scanner efficiently.

    + Balance and work on ladders as needed.

    + Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance for extended periods.

    + Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.

    + Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.

    + Manually load boxes onto pallets and then onto trucks using material handling aids.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor experience.

    + Order pulling and material handling skills.

    + Proficiency with RF scanners.

    + Experience operating pallet jacks.

    + Ability to perform order picking and unloading tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Steel-toed boots are required.

    The work environment is a non-climate controlled warehouse. Employees must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment with frequent heavy lifting and movement.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
