Job Title: HVAC Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Foreman to lead and supervise the installation of HVAC ductwork and equipment. The successful candidate will perform layout and field measurements, ensure accurate installation, and coordinate with crane operators for equipment placement. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and reporting daily progress to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

+ Install all facets of HVAC ductwork and equipment, including setting units and connecting systems.

+ Perform layout and field measurements to ensure accurate installation.

+ Lead and supervise a crew of 2–3 team members, assigning tasks and maintaining workflow.

+ Unload and organize materials and equipment on-site.

+ Coordinate with crane operators for equipment placement and material lifts.

+ Maintain proper inventory levels of materials and supplies.

+ Report daily progress and updates to the Project Manager.

+ Read and work independently from blueprints and technical drawings.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 5 years of lead experience in HVAC installation.

+ Proficiency in field measuring and relaying information to the shop.

+ Clean driving record with strong documentation and communication skills.

+ Ability to complete redlines accurately.

+ Experience filling out time cards accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proven experience leading HVAC installation teams on commercial job sites.

+ Strong skills in ductwork installation, equipment setup, layout, field measuring, unloading, and crane coordination.

+ Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

+ Must bring your own basic tools of the trade.

+ Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Work Environment

The work will involve setting units outside on roofs, with most tasks performed indoors. The role requires comfort working both in the elements and inside. Company vehicles may be taken home on weekends, depending on proximity to Kansas. The role involves utilizing technologies like data logs and 'CompanyCam' for documenting job sites.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hays, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $81120.00/yr.
