Job Title: Warehouse Clerk - Delivery Driver

Job Description

This position oversees the warehouse, receiving of raw materials/product/supplies. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming products and materials. Additionally, you will manage shipping processes and ensure the warehouse is well-organized and efficient. A large portion of your week will involve local deliveries using a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

+ Accept and verify deliveries from various carriers, including trailers, flatbeds, and small parcels.

+ Inspect products for quantity, color, and defects upon arrival.

+ Match incoming products with Bill of Lading and Purchase Orders, and update the inventory system accordingly.

+ Label materials and determine if they should be stocked or sent directly to job sites.

+ Coordinate shipping of kits, samples, and returns to clients and vendors using UPS/FedEx and carrier freight systems.

+ Maintain an organized and tidy warehouse, ensuring high-value materials are properly stored.

+ Conduct local deliveries and pickups using a company van or truck.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with material handling.

+ Experience safely and efficiently navigating the Pacific Northwest cities and rural communities, as well as construction jobsites, to deliver materials for installers to use.

+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

+ Proficient with UPS/FedEx and carrier freight systems.

+ Insurable driving record.

+ Forklift experience.

+ Box truck driving experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment where you will be surrounded by high-value materials. You will work with a range of equipment, including forklifts and company vehicles for local deliveries. This position is and will be a physical position involving moving and carrying construction materials such as concrete, plywood, flooring, tile, adhesives and solvents, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
