Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mig Welder to join our team. The role requires working on the 1st shift 5am - 3:30pm or 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2 AM, with potential overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. The successful candidate will work 50-60 hours weekly. We seek individuals with a minimum of 4 years of welding experience, particularly in the agriculture industry and with specialist products, including treadmill exercise parts.

Responsibilities

+ Perform Mig welding tasks according to production needs.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

+ Work with stainless steel and other materials as required.

+ Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 4 years of Mig welding experience.

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

+ Experience in stainless steel welding and fabrication.

+ Strong production and fabrication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with the agriculture industry.

+ Experience with specialist products, such as treadmill exercise parts.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing environment with a structured schedule that includes potential overtime. The role requires flexibility to work 6 days a week currently, with a typical schedule of 4-day workweeks under normal circumstances.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEWTON, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
