    Job Description

    As a packer, you will be responsible for packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. This role requires a keen eye for detail as you will need to count and weigh boxes to ensure accurate packaging and perform quality checks to verify label accuracy, expiration dates, and absence of misprints. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring you to maintain pace with the production line.

    Responsibilities

    + Pack lip balm and other personal care products into boxes.

    + Count and weigh boxes to ensure correct quantities.

    + Perform quality checks on labels, expiration dates, and for misprints.

    + Stand for the entire shift and maintain a fast pace to keep up with the production line.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packing and production environments.

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks such as loading, picking, and palletizing.

    + Attention to detail for inspecting and labeling products.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with unloading, stacking, and using a knife and calculator.

    + Ability to work independently, especially on smaller shifts.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is very fast-paced, and you will be standing for the entire shift. You will be given a locker on your first day where all personal items must be stored. You can carry a clear bag containing a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The manufacturing location is also the corporate headquarters, providing a dynamic atmosphere. The third shift offers a quieter setting, requiring the team to work independently with only a supervisor present.

    This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr.
