Job Title: HVAC Electronic Assembler
Job Description
The HVAC Assembler conducts prebuild inspections of components and performs basic mechanical and/or electrical assembly of components to build HVAC units for use in the rail car industry according to drawing specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct prebuild inspections of components, noting any pre-existing or handling damage before starting the build process.
+ Utilize approved manufacturing work instructions to use hand, pneumatic, and power tools to assemble components according to drawing specifications, while adhering to quality requirements and best practices.
+ Perform assembly processes such as installing gaskets, insulating units, and installing and tightening hardware.
+ Prepare surfaces and apply sealants and taping using approved cleaning methods and drawing specifications during various stages of the build process.
+ Inform the supervisor of any part or equipment defects noted during the cleaning process.
+ Monitor the shelf life of consumables used in the build process and follow established disposal methods for consumable material.
+ Provide support and assistance to other technicians and team members as directed and perform any other duties as assigned by the Cell Leader or Seasoned Personnel.
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure compliance with company rules and policies.
+ Comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines, and regulations.
+ Understand and comply with applicable standards such as ISO and CMMI.
+ Maintain and safeguard business records.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly, mechanical repair, and electrical repair of sub-assemblies.
+ Proficiency in HVAC assembly and electronic assembly.
+ Experience with circuit boards and blueprints.
+ 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
+ Manufacturing experience in an electrical field.
+ Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools, including complex test rigs and fixtures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred computer skills.
+ Ability to work well with others.

Work Environment
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects, tools, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee must lift or move up to 50 pounds. Duties include working on a computer terminal. Enjoy working in a very clean and modern manufacturing environment with a shift from 7am to 3:30pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.14 - $18.14/hr.
