A nationally recognized, purpose-driven financial advisory firm is seeking a Managing Director to lead its San Francisco office. This strategic leadership role focuses on team development, business performance, and delivering exceptional client experiences. Position Overview:

The Managing Director will oversee a high-performing advisory team, drive local business strategy, and ensure consistent delivery of outstanding client service. This role blends operational leadership, people management, and market engagement, with a strong emphasis on aligning team structure and performance with long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and manage the San Francisco office, including financial performance, team structure, and strategic planning

+ Inspire, coach, and develop advisory teams while fostering a strong local culture aligned with firm values

+ Collaborate with firmwide leadership to implement scalable growth strategies and operational best practices

Compensation & Benefits:

+ Competitive base salary: $225,000 – $275,000 per year

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ 10+ years of experience in wealth management, professional services, or team-based advisory roles

+ Proven leadership experience with a strong track record of building and developing high-performing teams

+ Solid financial acumen, including experience contributing to or managing a P& L

+ Excellent communication skills and sound strategic decision-making abilities

+ Genuine passion for helping others thrive—clients, colleagues, and the broader community
