    Controller – Wealth Management / Family Office

    Salary: Up to $200,000+ Bonus

    A fast-growing, highly respected financial services firm is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead and expand its accounting function. This is a newly created role offering significant impact, combining technical accounting oversight with strategic responsibility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting & Oversight

     

    + Manage daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, GL, and bank reconciliations

    + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

    + Develop and monitor budgets, cash flow models, and forecasts

    + Oversee tax documentation and filings

    + Collaborate with client-facing teams to provide accounting support for high-net-worth individuals and families

    + Assist with financial statements, tax coordination, and financial modeling

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred

    + 5–7 years of experience in accounting or audit, ideally with public accounting exposure

    + Experience with wealth management, family office, or high-net-worth clients is a plus

    + Strong GAAP knowledge and familiarity with regulatory filings

    + Tech-savvy with proficiency in accounting and spreadsheet tools

    + Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative
