Description We are looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Terrell, Texas. This role involves leading quality assurance efforts, overseeing a team of inspectors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of three Quality Inspectors, ensuring all processes meet established standards.

• Utilize measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers to perform precise evaluations of materials and components.

• Program and operate quality systems to maintain accurate records and streamline inspection processes.

• Conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement problem-solving techniques to address quality issues.

• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance Systems, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and equivalent standards.

• Interpret and analyze technical engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation, including GD& T.

• Perform all duties associated with a Quality Control Technician, ensuring product integrity and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and operational efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication, with a proven track record in quality assurance.

• Leadership experience managing a team, preferably within a manufacturing setting.

• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance Systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective problem-solving strategies.

• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings and GD& T documentation.

• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage projects and collaborate with stakeholders.
