    Summary You will serve as a RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in shop 71 of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will assist in managing overall shop project manning requirements. You will evaluate short and long term work schedules to identify and coordinate training, medical qualification and work qualification requirements. You will prepare and issue reports using computer data bases, including leave, overtime, backshift assignments, licenses status, and training qualifications and schedules. You will assist supervisors in collecting, interpreting and analyzing training and resource data. You will work with other shops, departments and projects in identifying, placing and leveling PSNS and IMF resource/manning requirements as related to the shop, project or department. You will schedule and manage the training and medical qualification programs for the shop. You will coordinate all travel processes, including selection reports, conducting travel briefs, submitting requests for orders and vouchers, and assisting employees with all travel issues. You will coordinate new employee hiring, including setting up interviews, initial indoctrination training and shop specific training. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector ASSISTING MANAGEMENT WITH COLLECTING, TRACKING, AND REPORTING TRAINING AND RESOURCE DATA TO SUPPORT FULFILLMENT OF PROJECT MANNING REQUIREMENTS. If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
