About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a _Senior Strategy & Planning Consultant_ to join the Strategic Programs team within the Strategic Programs and Enterprise Change Management organization.
Strategic Programs addresses pressing challenges facing Wells Fargo across its businesses, supporting functions, and 250,000 employees. Our thought leaders operate under the Chief Operating Office (COO) and specialize in complex problems that have wide-ranging impact across the bank. Often a stabilizing influence, we provide the central direction and framework to drive momentum across a broad set of stakeholders. We prioritize the needs for our CEO, COO, and CFO, resulting in a diverse set of high priority initiatives (aka “Programs”) for Wells Fargo. Examples of work include organizational design, operating model optimization, expense reduction, and regulatory remediation.
In this role, you will:
+ Contribute to delivering results for high priority programs by managing a workstream and/or executing tasks within a workstream spanning businesses and functions.
+ Foster and cultivate stakeholder relationships within assigned workstream by completing quality and timely deliverables and being mindful of appropriate messaging to senior leaders.
+ Develop communications for key stakeholders by preparing executive-ready visuals based on analyzed data.
+ Assists in planning/managing day-to-day efforts of a workstream
Required Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience in a consulting firm or internal strategy team, assisting with large initiatives in a complex environment.
+ Experience supporting a team across a large, matrixed organization.
+ Ability to build problem solving capabilities via active participation in project working sessions and proactively bringing solutions to leaders.
+ Ability to contribute to story-telling components in senior leader level communications.
+ Ability to support a team across all organizational levels; partnering with business leaders to achieve key goals through flexibility, collaboration, influence, and adaptability.
+ Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills), with a strong emphasis on analyzing/summarizing complex data sets in Excel.
+ Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment.
+ Demonstrates a desire to acquire and develop new skills to support the continuous improvement of the Strategic Programs team.
Job Expectations:
+ Position location: Charlotte, NC (No other locations will be considered)
+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule
