THE OPPORTUNITY:
We’re looking for a Private Markets Analyst who’s ready to lead and shape our private capital research strategy. You’ll be at the crossroads of strategy, fund analysis, and manager research—turning data into high-impact insights for some of the world’s most sophisticated investors.
This is your chance to join a growing team that’s focused on redefining how private markets are understood, tracked, and forecasted. Your work will influence institutional portfolios, inform allocation decisions, and help define trends in this constantly evolving space.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Be a thought leader in private capital markets by producing timely, data-rich research across asset classes and strategies
- Track macro and micro trends impacting private markets—from deal flow and valuations to investor sentiment and portfolio construction
- Analyze and synthesize large, complex data sets to uncover insights others miss
- Collaborate across geographies with our global team of strategists and industry experts
- Engage directly with investors, fund managers, and other key market players
- Partner with internal Bloomberg teams to expand and enhance our private market data offerings
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 7+ years of experience in private capital markets research, data analysis, or strategy
- Strong knowledge across private market strategies—private equity, venture capital, credit, real assets, and more
- Excellent writing and communication skills—you know how to turn insights into compelling narratives
- A data-first approach with a proven track record to model, analyze, and interpret complex financial data
- Curious, collaborative, and confident in navigating ambiguity
- A Bachelor’s degree (required); CFA, MBA, or other advanced credentials are a plus
- Experience with Python or other coding skills for modeling and analysis is strongly preferred

Salary Range = 150000 - 210000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
