    The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

    Job Overview:

    Performs a variety of semi-skilled jobs to maintain the hospital buildings, equipment and furniture in good repair. Operates boilers and controls generation of a continuous supply of heat to maintain the hospital with heat and hot water, and supply power to machinery and auxiliary equipment.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + At least one year vocational training in one of the major or equivalent trades

    + At least two years experience in the related trades or maintenance positions

    Licenses:

    Required

    + Valid New Jersey Drivers License

    Scheduling Requirement:

    + Full-Time

    + Days

    + 40 Hours per week

    + On Call/Weekend coverage required

    Essential Functions:

    + Performs all preventative maintenance as scheduled,

    + Performs and maintains daily inspections of all hospital utilities equipment, life safety items and pool

    + Makes repairs to maintain the Building and equipment in accordance with Building codes and legal requirements

    + May be called in on nights and weekends when emergencies occur or during snow, ice storms

    + Keeps and maintains accurate records in log books and daily timesheets

    + Adheres to company policy regarding proper use of Dash Cams, which assist in the protection and safety of persons and property, prevention or detection of criminal offenses, and potentially driver training

    + Performs other duties related to work of the department as assigned.
