    Overview

     

    We seek a professional who is passionate about teaching undergraduate business students and who wishes to make a lasting impact on their futures. The candidate will be articulate and affable, will have a deep knowledge of the various areas in finance and, is comfortable expressing and combining theory and practice in a highly rigorous manner and assessing student performance accordingly. The optimal candidate will have experience that will reflect an advanced background in both Finance education and real-world practice. Classes are held on our central Queens campus (Kew Gardens Hills), in New York City (Manhattan) and in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching 4 undergraduate semester-long courses in Finance including introductory and advanced courses, per semester (fall and spring). The candidate will keep regular office hours to consult with students concerning academic and career matters.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience

    + Doctor of Philosophy required.

    + Ph.d required, research record preferred

    + Minimum 2 years in the field and prior teaching experience

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint

    + Knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal a plus

    + Able to lecture via zoom with use of screen share and smart board

     

    Maximum Salary

     

    USD $90,000.00/Yr.

     

    Minimum Salary

     

    USD $72,000.00/Yr.
