What You Can Expect
The ASC Capital Equipment Associate Director, will play a critical role in advancing the ASC business by overseeing capital equipment projects and commercial operations.
This role will provide strategic selling direction for the assigned region, including clinical product expertise.
How You'll Create Impact
• Support training programs to enhance the skill and knowledge of sales teams
• Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of projects
• Lead commercial operations activities including the development of sales plans to meet business growth objectives
• Hire, coach, mentor and develop team towards maximized performance
• Recommend changes which support the achievement of ASC business objectives
• Develop and maintain product category technical expertise and provide support to sales personnel and customers, including demonstration of product capabilities, key features and advanced applications
• Manage geography through strategic prospecting, pipeline development, closing activities, and achieving sales goals for Zimmer Biomet
• Measure, report and forecast accurate pipeline and sales targets
• Demonstrate leadership while applying Zimmer Values and reinforce adherence to all laws and applicable Zimmer policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP’s (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training

• Knowledge of competitor’s products and strategies, specifically in the area of ASC capital equipment
• Strong presentation skills to physicians, executives, and large audiences

• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to overcome objections and influence outcomes
Your Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or technical discipline plus 7-10 years’ proven sales/marketing experience in the medical device industry (or related business).
• Proven ability to collaborate with sales teams, customers, and distributors to develop strategic solutions
• Extensive capital equipment knowledge, including Zimmer Biomet competitor product portfolios
• Experience with Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) is preferred
Travel Expectations
Up to 60%
The position is posted for South Carolina, but other locations may be considered.
