Job Description:

The Head of TD Securities Operational Risk Management, US Regulatory Remediation is responsible for regulatory remediation activities to strengthen risk management capabilities and outcomes on behalf of TDSORM and TD Securities across Non-Financial Risk Management.

+ US based role focused on regulatory remediation activities to strengthen risk management capabilities and outcomes on behalf of TDSORM and TD Securities across Non-Financial Risk Management.

+ Demonstrates a deep understanding and an ability to promote awareness of key operational risk frameworks, risk appetite, policies, and Operational Risk Management (ORM) programs to support a strong risk culture.

+ Develops a deep understanding of the end to end operational risks in Capital Markets and Investment Banking as a foundation for effective challenge.

+ Identifies and develops a risk point of view on key operational risks and the effectiveness of business implementation of the ORM framework.

+ Identify significant operational risk concerns and appropriately communicate/escalate as appropriate.

+ Leverage knowledge of ORM programs and subject matter expert business knowledge to support he businesses as they develop their governance and control capabilities.

+ Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required.

+ Identifies and develops a risk point of view on key operational risks and the effectiveness of business implementation of the ORM framework.

+ Represents TDS ORM in partnership with the broader NFRM organization and the TD Securities Business to develop and implement solutions that allow TD Securities to operate effectively and efficiently across the Global footprint, while also ensuring oversight and compliance with Policies and Standards

Required experience:

+ 7 -10 + years experience in Non Financial Risk Management in a Globally Systemically Important Bank

+ 10+ years experience in Capital Markets roles / Oversight of Capital Market roles

+ Good judgment and decisiveness
