The Supplier

Quality & Development Organization is responsible for securing the best

performing supply base in quality, reliability, and safety. In this role you

will be directly supporting the Gas Services Central Global Customer Operations

business by monitoring and continuously improving electrical system suppliers

globally.

How You’ll Make an Impact

+ SupplierMonitoring: Perform supplier oversight and product inspections for regularproject execution to ensure compliance with specification. Inspectiontypes include visual, dimensional, weld, coating, traceability, qualityrecords, Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT), etc. FAT examples caninclude transformer routine & type tests, MCC production & typetests, etc.

+ SupplierAudit Program: Perform routine audits according to supplier riskcategorization and audit program. Audits are according to ISO 9001 / 14001/ 45001.

+ NonconformanceManagement: Identify and initiate containment on any identifiednon-conformances. Follow-up with corrective action as necessary.

+ SupplierDevelopment: Support supplier evaluation based on regular analysis ofsupplier quality. Initiate and implement supplier quality improvementprograms, quality root cause analysis and definition of appropriate riskmitigation measures at the supplier.

+ Controllingand Reporting: Generate periodical quality performance reports and ensureappropriate improvement actions are initiated.

+ Typicalequipment of suppliers in scope includes MCC, Switchgear, Switchboards,Panel Boards, UPS, Transformers, Static Excitation Systems, StaticFrequency Converters, Batteries & Charging Systems, E-houses, Cables,and Bus Ducting. Manage various Supplier Quality Management tools anddatabases. Ensure data quality and transparency.

What You Bring

+ Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a similarfield. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experiencewill be considered.

+ At least 5+years preferred professional experience in supplier quality management,quality management, or engineering in the Power Generation or PowerTransmission Industry.

+ You haveexperience performing supplier evaluation, qualification, product/ processqualification & technical supplier development to provide a global,demand covering, quality assured and cost-effective supply base forresponsible suppliers!

+ Strongunderstanding of HV, MV, and LV electrical systems and components.

+ Extensiveknowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and UL and knowledge and experience inauditing. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certificationpreferred.

+ Understandingof Lean Practices, and applying quality tools and methods (5S, PDCA, FMEA,RCA, 5 WHY, Poka Yoke).

+ Experienceleading projects and running virtual multi-functional teams in aninternational environment. Willingness to travel domestically andinternationally up to 35% of the time. Must have or be able to obtain apassport.
