Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
+ 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
+ Controller or strong Controller Candidate experience
+ Proficiency in accounting software (Sage or similar ERP; Excel)
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
+ An Ownership thinking attitude
+ Ability to lead and develop a finance team
Description
+ Lead all accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, job costing, and general ledger
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP
+ Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
+ Implement and maintain internal controls and financial systems
+ Collaborate with project managers to analyze projects and prepare work in progress reports
+ Review contracts, lien waivers and other legal documents
+ Advise executive leadership on financial performance and opportunities
+ Oversee audits, bonding and insurance, and financial risk management
+ Assist in managing IT issues and drive ERP system implementation
+ Work with the HR Manager on employee insurance and benefits
+ Assist in the compliance and oversight of the 401(K) and Employee Stock Ownership Plans
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
