What you will do
As the Lead Analyst, Financial Compliance, you will play an integral role in ensuring financial statements and accounting practices are compliant with SOX, GAAP, and internal Stryker policies. As a member of the MSNT Financial Compliance team supporting the MSNT Group, you will be a key driver of the Group and Divisions’ compliance offense.
+ Drive standardization of key assumptions and SOX controls across MSNT divisions, including identifying areas of improvement and proposing process enhancements to drive efficiencies.
+ Execute the formal monthly/quarterly Balance Sheet Review process for the MSNT Group, including preparing the quarterly Group CFO reporting package
+ Execute the Group account reconciliation monitoring program, while driving improvements and efficiencies
+ Own the monthly review of non-GAAP charges to ensure compliance with the Corporate Finance Policy and approved project spend.
+ Responsible for reviewing all Corporate Finance Policy issuances and summarizing and communicating policy updates
+ Execute monitoring of controls and compliance with Corporate Finance policies (e.g., R-item reporting, timeliness of account reconciliation completion)
+ Build ad hoc balance sheet and P&L analyses to support management requests
+ Lead quarterly meetings with divisional financial compliance and BU finance
What you need
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or other relevant business degree required
+ 4+ years of professional experience in Accounting/Finance roles
+ Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
+ Familiarity with HFM, Blackline, SAP, and financial statement close processes
Preferred:
+ CPA
