    Senior Analyst, Payroll and Compensation Analysis - Xerox IT Solutions

     

    We areseekingan experienced HR professional who is detail-oriented and analytical to join our team as a Senior Analyst, Payroll & Compensation Analysis to manage the calculation and administration of incentive compensation plans for a complex, multi-divisional organization. This role ensuresaccurateandtimelycompensation payments and supports strategic alignment between compensation structures and businessobjectives. This person also works closely with the payroll teamand finance to ensure payroll isprocessed andrecorded correctly.

    Key Responsibilities of** **the Payroll and** **Compensation Senior Analyst:

    Compensation:

    Accuratelytrack, manage,calculateand process monthly, quarterly, and annual variable incentive compensation

    + Assistingwith bonus allocation processesthroughanalyzing performance data

    + Assistin the development ofvariable compensation and incentive plans that drive business results and team engagement.

    + Creating clear, compelling communication and training materials forleaders,and employees.

    + Directly support finance and business leaders with compensation analytics,investmentsand opportunities.

    + Collaborate with Global compensation teams to ensure best practices, strategy alignment, etc. Work with business unit CFO on projects as needed.

    + CommissionProcessing:

    + Accurately process commissions based on established plans and policies.Ensure data integrity and accuracy.

    + Reconciliations and Audits: Reconcile commission payments, audit data sources, and resolve discrepancies.

    + Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, and other teams to resolve commission-related issues and answer inquiries.

    + Maintaining Records and Documentation: Ensureaccurateand up-to-date commission records and documentation.

    + Staying Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to sales compensation and commission management.

    + Process Improvement:Identifyareas for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient systems and procedures.

    + Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects and reporting needs, including financial accruals, compensation trends, and quarterly projections.

    + Collaborates with the Finance reporting team on variable compensation accruals, updates to thevariable incentive plans.

    Payroll** **:

    + Provide accurate and completepayrolljournal entries to Accounting forrecording ofpayroll registerson a timely basis.

    + Identifydiscrepancies, missing data, and deduction code issues across multiple pay periods and employee records.

    + Reconcile payroll data todetermineroot causes of errors and inconsistencies:Collaborate with internal stakeholders tovalidatefindings and propose corrective actions.

    + Assist HR and Finance leaders with validation ofpayroll registerscompared to trends.

    + Assistwith internal audits and benefits-related payroll analysis.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Human Resources,Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CCP) is a plus.

    + 3–5+ years of experience in compensation analysis, sales operations, or financial analysis.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

    + Professional communication skills
