    Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the DEPUTY COMPTROLLER OFFICE of COMNAVAIRLANT. Responsibilities You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, and financial management policies and procedures. You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution. You will develop and format content to provide managers with various listings, reports, and data related to the status of funds and the propriety of obligations. You will ensure the financial integrity, accuracy, timeliness and validity of managerial accounting, budget execution and financial management reports. You will direct, review, analyze appraise and execute major operating and support programs within the organization. You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances and problem areas. You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost and performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization. You will prepare and review responses to reviews and audits, for FMB, GAO, and DODIG that involve financial management policy and procedure. You will evaluate financial issues raised in audit reports, and budget reviews, and recommend alternative corrective actions. You will assign work to subordinates based on the employee’s capabilities, priorities and difficulty. You will develop performance standards and evaluate employee performance. You will hear and resolve employee complaints and refer serious issues that lack resolution to higher level supervision. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and financing. Experience with supervisory and management principles, practices, procedures and regulations; to include leading, supervising and counseling subordinate employees. Experience developing, recommending and implementing budgetary and financial policies. Experience developing and rendering authoritative interpretation of executive orders and OMB guidance within and across agency lines. Experience interpreting and assessing potential impacts of new and revised Congressional legislation.
