Job Summary

As a Principal Engineer II you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced IoT solutions using Microsoft Azure for our industrial manufacturing clients. With a hybrid work model you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our technological capabilities and delivering impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

+ Lead the design and development of IoT solutions using Microsoft Azure to meet client requirements in the industrial manufacturing sector.

+ Oversee the integration of IoT devices and systems to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for IoT deployments.

+ Drive the optimization of IoT solutions to enhance performance scalability and security.

+ Conduct thorough testing and validation of IoT systems to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.

+ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IoT projects to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

+ Analyze client needs and propose tailored IoT solutions that align with their business objectives.

+ Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our IoT offerings at the forefront of innovation.

+ Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.

+ Implement robust data analytics and visualization tools to provide actionable insights from IoT data.

+ Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of IoT processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

+ Possess extensive experience in Microsoft Azure IoT demonstrating a deep understanding of its capabilities and applications.

+ Have a strong background in industrial manufacturing with the ability to apply domain knowledge to IoT solutions.

+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in complex situations.

+ Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

+ Show a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale IoT projects.

+ Be adept at managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing project requirements.

+ Have a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technological advancements.

+ The annual salary for this position is between $183,000 – $205,000 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
