Description
This role is a key member of The Estée Lauder Companies' Global Communications (GC) team, supporting 360 storytelling across ELC's corporate channels. The role will work to uphold and strengthen the editorial process for the GC Newsroom on ELC's digital channels, with a strong focus on employee communications.
The position is responsible for planning and editing content across ELC's platforms that support the communications strategy and serving as a trusted partner for stakeholders across the company. The position requires a strong combination of editorial, digital, and project management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across brands, regions, and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage the daily operations of the Global Communications Newsroom to support the communications strategy
+ Act as a strategic advisor and liaison for stakeholders across brands, regions, and functions on their upcoming content
+ Draft, edit, and plan content for ELC's primary digital channels, including intranet, employee email, and corporate website, using metrics to inform
+ Serve a leadership role in daily editorial meetings to support Newsroom team and process
+ Oversee governance and training for GC's digital platforms, including intranet and corporate email
+ Maintain and build relationships with key external vendors to support employee communications
+ Support the management of the employee communications team, including an Associate and consultant
Qualifications
+ Minimum 5-7 years relevant communications experience
+ Excellent creative and business writing skills
+ Experience in new media communications (digital, social)
+ Experience in planning and delivering global PR strategies
+ Experience in planning, writing and executing communications documents/materials
+ Working knowledge of PR in international markets
+ Ability to build key relationships with the media
+ Strong project management skills; ability to initiate and manage multiple projects
+ Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
+ Media relations experience
+ Ability to manage the creative process and brief creative teams
+ Executive presence
+ Detailed oriented
