    How** **will** **you** **make** **an** **impact?

     

    Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.

    Projects may include the following responsibilities:

    + Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improveefficiency and benchmark with industry bestpractices.

    + Become a process owner; critically review specific processes with greatattentiontodetail and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.

    + Learncontinuousimprovement methodologies (i.e., PPI, Six Sigma, and others) and help promote improvement initiatives.

    + Align with all company safety, training, and quality regulations (i.e. ISO compliance, GLP/GMP requirements, etc.) and procedures.

    + Execute experimental plans, analyze data, and contribute to technical reports and product summaries.

    + Investigate new methods/technologies and maintain accurate lab notebook to support protection of intellectual property in accordance with relevant Thermo Fisher required standards.

    + Work collaboratively with other functions including Business Development,Quality, Operations, Technical Services, and/or Marketing in the commercialization of new products.

     

    How** **will** **you** **get** **here?

     

    + Master's or PhD degree student pursuing an Engineering or Life Sciences-related degree.

    + 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.

    + Experience using computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

    + Native (or proficient) in English.

    + Internship will fulfill a 12-month University placement within curriculum.

    + Ability to be onsite – this is not a remote opportunity.

    + Excellent interpersonalskills and strongprofessional presence.
