    As a Biotech Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will be based in our Eugene, OR, USA location. This division focuses on providing instrumentation, reagents, and protocols for the Life Sciences.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE:

    - As a Biotech intern, you will work on a self-contained research and development project.

     

    - You will be fully integrated into our R&D group, participating in research presentations and group meetings.

     

    - You will have access to our outstanding resources, including our online R&D library, corporate network, and advanced laboratory equipment.

     

    - Your typical day will involve planning experiments, conducting laboratory work, analyzing data, and collaborating with the broader team to review and contextualize results.

    KEYS TO SUCCESS:

    Education

    - Enrolled in a biology, bioengineering, engineering, or other relevant program.

    EXPERIENCE

    - Experience planning and conducting experiments to test hypotheses.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

    - Creative, innovative, and critical thinking.

     

    - Analytical nature, responds positively to challenges and a problem solver.

     

    - Adaptable, proactive, and focused on accomplishing goals.

     

    - Self-directed, well-organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
