Key Responsibilities
Upstream Activities:
+ Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic product plans and objectives
+ Conduct complex market and competitive analyses to identify unmet needs, whitespace opportunities, and differentiation strategies
+ Drive the development of biomechanical, pre-clinical, and clinical evidence supporting product development and commercialization
+ Oversee and manage high-impact project plans, ensuring alignment between engineering, regulatory, and clinical teams
+ Lead execution of design reviews, V&V testing, cadaver labs, and advisory boards
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through ownership of high-quality documentation (DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs)
Downstream Activities:
+ Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product introductions
+ Oversee creation of impactful sales tools and educational materials (technique guides, training modules, sales collateral)
+ Collaborate with operations and supply chain to manage forecasts, inventory plans, and product availability
+ Analyze product performance across multiple channels and integrate market feedback into roadmap decisions
+ Drive continuous improvement through voice-of-customer programs and post-launch field evaluations
Customer-Facing Responsibilities:
+ Partner with sales teams to refine positioning, competitive messaging, and field strategy
+ Deliver clinical training and education to surgeons, sales reps, and OR staff
+ Provide advanced intraoperative support during product launches and evaluations
+ Serve as a field-based escalation point for complex technical or clinical issues
+ Champion customer insights internally to influence product evolution and strategic direction
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, ideally within medical devices or healthcare
+ Proven success in launching and managing high-impact products
+ Exceptional cross-functional leadership, project management, and communication skills
+ Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and regulatory documentation
+ Ability to travel up to 25% to support field initiatives, customer visits, and cross-site collaboration
