Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential

Join Amcor as a **Printing Press** **Assistant** and play a key role in producing high-quality packaging that makes a global impact. You’ll ensure safety, quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Schedule

+ Shift: 2-2-3: 12-hour shifts, nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked

What** **you’ll** **do:

+ Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears, etc. for scheduled job.

+ Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality.

+ Knowledge and ability to perform make-readies.

+ Participate in the operation of the press with the ability to operate if needed.

+ Order, Charge, and Return raw materials to each job as needed.

+ Complete necessary daily paperwork.

+ Complete 5S/housekeeping logs.

+ Follow and be held accountable for adherence to all of the company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.

+ Remove and identify all scrap except flying splices before master rolls get moved to WIP area

+ All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Management

What We Want** **From** **You: Lead the Pack

Preferred qualifications:

+ Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications

+ Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

+ Forklift experience preferred

+ Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software

+ Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
