In this role, you'll partner with the Human Pharma business to drive sustainability efforts, and ensure the successful completion of projects while making a positive impact on society.

    This role is based out of our Ridgefield, CT location with a hybrid onsite work schedule that requires a minimum 2-3 days in office per week and as needed to support the business.

     

    This position offers a base salary typically between $140,000 and $180,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus, relocation and or other compensation elements.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    + Develop sustainability roadmaps in collaboration with various functions and sites, and monitor and report on the progress of programs.

    + Connect U.S. and Global sustainability programs with the relevant personnel in designated departments, ensuring buy-in and overall awareness and involvement.

    + Support the development of consistent reporting processes for sustainability, complying with internal and external requirements, and analyze key performance indicators.

    + Influence leadership to prioritize sustainability efforts within the Human Pharma organization and support department-specific sustainability goals.

    + Manage Sustainable Development Excellence Program (SDX) in partnership with external academic partner. This program is an annual nominated leadership development program centered on developing strong sustainable development acumen.

    + Create engaging SD4G (Sustainable Development for Generations) content for internal and external communications, including social media, to drive awareness and inspire action.

    + Drive change management initiatives to educate and inspire individuals to act in support of sustainability goals within the organization.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.

    + The ideal candidate should have a solid background in the pharmaceutical industry or other similar industry with at least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.

    + Experience in or knowledge of sustainability initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial for this role.

    + The candidate should have a track record of effectively collaborating and influencing senior management within a corporate setting.

    + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Proficiency in digital and social media platforms would be an added advantage.

    + Possess the ability to handle and successfully manage projects/programs in a complex and dynamic work environment.

    **Eligibility Requirements** :

    + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

    + Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).

    + Must be 18 years of age or older.
