Special Education Teacher

Salary: $2250 / Week
Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides high-quality instructional services to students with special needs across K–12 settings. This role requires a collaborative mindset and a commitment to individualized student support through specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff.
+ Deliver tailored instruction aligned with IEP goals
+ Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
+ Provide academic and behavioral interventions
+ Participate in team planning and student progress reviews
+ Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district/state regulations
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
+ Valid state teaching certificate (required by state and district regulations)
+ Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
+ Certification Types (preferred):
+ Standard Elementary Teaching
+ Standard Secondary Teaching
+ Standard Special Teaching
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
