Amergis is currently seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for TRAVEL assignments in Hackensack, NJ!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 wks
Number of Openings: 2
Start Date: 9/29
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 hrs/wk, Nights
*Every other weekend and holidays required
Requirements
+ Must have active NJ license (NOT TEMP)
+ 1+ years of recent experience working as a license RRT
+ 1+ year of ICU experience required
+ Previous experience with ventilators required
+ Must be willing to float to adult ICU areas, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care floor
The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
+ One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
