    The Analyst, Commercial Analytics will support the execution of analytics and reporting initiatives focused on contract compliance, sales incentive compensation, sales performance, and commercial operations. This role is responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and contract data to support decision-making, drive compliance, and enhance field execution. The analyst will assist in developing tools and dashboards, managing rebate and compliance calculations and reporting, and contributing to the administration of sales compensation, account alignments, quotas, and territory planning processes.

     

    Working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, Contracts, and IT, this individual will play a key role in identifying trends, developing insights, and supporting operational excellence across the commercial organization. This position does not have direct reports and operates under the guidance of a team leader.

    Responsibilities:

    + Generate and distribute recurring reports on contract compliance and customer performance.

    + Partner with sales and contracts teams to support contract compliance reviews and track customer adherence to pricing and volume terms.

    + Process and validate rebate and administrative fee submissions for GPO, IDN, and other pricing agreements.

    + Calculate and process promotional or Marketing rebates.

    + Create ad hoc pricing and compliance analyses to support field enablement and commercial initiatives.

    + Ensures all requirements related to SAM (System for Award Management) are met; coordinates SAM registration for assigned business annually.

    + Develop and maintain dashboards and tools that provide actionable insights into sales performance, contract compliance, and business operations.

    + Conduct sales data analysis to support strategic projects, territory alignments, and execution of sales strategies.

    + Maintain quotas and account assignment data tables in Access.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Business Insights, Marketing) to synthesize data from multiple sources and deliver meaningful reporting.

    + Assist in the creation of materials for business reviews and performance updates.

    + Contribute to the administration of sales compensation programs, including supporting monthly commission calculations, sales rankings, and performance tracking.

    + Help compile and validate data for Total Rewards, SOX compliance, territory alignments and quota-setting activities.

    + Collaborate with business partners in the automation and continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools.

    + Present complex data in a concise and easily understandable format for both field and internal stakeholders.

    + Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

    + Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

    + Performs other duties assigned as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    + A Bachelor's degree Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Contracting or related field, is required.

    Skills and Experience:

    + Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in Analytics, Commercial/Sales Operations, Finance, or related field—preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry

    + Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments is strongly preferred.

    + Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).

    + Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent attention-to-detail.

    + Database management/maintenance preferred.

    + Experience with Microsoft Power Platform preferred.

    + Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.

    + Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to present detailed data in a clear and concise manner.

    + Familiarity with sales compensation concepts and contracting processes is a plus.

    + Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding Sales incentive compensation.

    + Self-starter with a collaborative mentality and willingness to learn and adapt.

    + Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complexity.

    + Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

    Other:

    + This role will be based out of Irvine, CA. and may require up to 10% travel (domestic and international)

    + Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $63,000 to $102,350

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
