    The Sr Production Planning Manager has oversight of all Production Planning activities at the Anasco MFG Site. At a tactical level, it is responsible for managing activities by technology, platform & region as it pertains to production planning impacting the Anasco Site. This includes materials supply planning and buying, production capacity planning, MPS and detailed scheduling, focusing on deriving customer demand and developing and implementing effective inventory management practices & standards. From a strategic perspective, it develops and drives the site production planning roadmap in alignment with Global Planning priorities while supporting the overall site long term strategic objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    + Leads other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a cross-functional environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations

    + Communicates direction for production processes to Managers, Supervisors, and individual contributors, and ensures methods align with organizational goals and objectives

    + Collaborates with Supply Planning teams to understand forecast drivers and ensure production numbers are sound

    + Responsible for leading operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.

    + Develops and implements supply chain models, policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures.

    + Keeps track of inventories (raw materials, WIP and finished goods), and ensures material availability.

    + Monitors expenditure of Department's budget allocations.

    + Communicates relevant information to appropriate management and manages relationships with key customers

    + Supervises capacity planning requirements for the site, including business supply needs, new production pipeline volume builds and other plant project work.

    + Connects with E2E planning partners to ensure effective flow of information and fully integrated approach to delivering business metrics.

    + Owns oversight of supplier critical issues partnering with source and presenting business related issues or opportunities to next management level while actively working on the resolution.

    + Partners with Sourcing to drive supplier performance improvements.

    + Assure demand & inventory management systems are maintained & continuously improved to achieve innovative business process technology

    + Supervises the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing and buying of raw materials and indirect components required through a team of planners and schedulers.

    + Maintains compliance with company policies regarding all safety and Quality regulations.

    + Reduce obsolescence excess & slow-moving material exposure by directly collaborating with engineering, materials, manufacturing, marketing & finance in the release of new products & phase-out of old products

    + Improves profitability through process improvements and utilization of resources.

    + Analyze weekly/monthly performance results and facilitate appropriate actions to achieve business goals

    + Represents global planning on site leadership team

    + Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelors Degree is required. Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering degree (operations, business, logistics, systems) or equivalent is preferred.

    + A minimum of 8 years in any combination of the following fields: materials, inventory management, demand management, capacity planning and / or Supply Chain.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES AND AFFILIATIONS:

    + Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish, read, write and speak)

    + Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required

    + Must demonstrate insights into End-to-End supply chain characteristics and understanding of financial processes, such as business scenario development, P&L calculation and COGS

    + Able to work with complex planning tools & have experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)

    + Management (DM), master scheduling (MPS), capacity planning (CRP), material planning (MRP) & Inventory control is desirable

    + Related professional certifications (e.g., APICS, ISM, Process Excellence/Six Sigma, FPX) are desirable

    + International materials management experience is desirable

    + Demonstrates the ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading multi-functional / virtual teams where required.
