    Overview

     

    Position is responsible for overseeing administration of business systems, intelligence, and development and execution of data analytics and reporting strategies and procedures which support and align with Electric Distribution Operations' (EDO) strategic goals and objectives. Position also works with appropriate business representatives to develop prudent, business metrics, support technology improvements and work to provide data supported action plans that enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    •Demonstrates a strong and visible commitment to safety of employees through support and participation with site safety teams, corporate safety initiatives, safety tailgates, and continuous reinforcement of safe work practices in compliance with corporate safety policies.

    •Works closely with business leaders to maintain an understanding of business and technology needs, and aligns data analytics strategies, architecture, and solutions with EDO's technical and business direction.

    •Collaborates with subject matter experts to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance.

    •Builds and maintains data models, reporting tools, data automation, and statistical analysis methods which support key business decisions.

    •Develops, reviews, and reports key EDO performance metrics.

    •Oversees and develops business/data analysts who are responsible for leveraging business data and systems to manipulate and analyze data and provide needed information to business leaders.

    •Leads detailed studies and develops financial and operational analyses to enhance the operational effectiveness of EDO.

    •Continually analyzes and measures work efficiencies and system performance and provides recommendations for process and operational improvements.

    •Administers Company and departmental policies and procedures.

    •Establishes performance excellence plans and personal development plans with employees within reporting group.

    •Evaluates performance and recommends appropriate compensation for employees within reporting group.

    •Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Education

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Data Analytics, Business, or related field

    Required Experience

    Five plus years of experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    •Relevant post-baccalaureate degree

    •Excellent analytical skills

    •Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    •Strong influencing skills and the ability to gain support and cooperation from peers and other related functional areas

    •Energy industry experience

    Required Education
