Job Description Summary:
Assure high quality care, continuous process improvement, optimal productivity, efficient utilization of resources and customer satisfaction in their assigned department(s) which includes medical and surgical weight management programs and diabetes management.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Clinical Responsibilities 1. Organize daily clinical operations to assure the delivery of quality services to all customers by the multidisciplinary team. 2. Develops, implements and evaluates program modifications in response to needs identified through continuous process improvement. 3. Oversees and coordinates the integration of the interdisciplinary team to achieve effective patient outcomes, efficient utilization of resources and patient satisfaction. 4. Creates efficient schedules for the interdisciplinary staff and patients that facilitate effective patient outcomes and satisfaction. 5. Ensures appropriate skill mix for delivery of services. Leadership 1. Provides input to manager regarding staff performance and provides feedback informally and formally, through annual performance review and goal setting, and ongoing supervision and evaluation. 2. Assures completeness and accuracy of competency and licensure database for all staff. 3. Assures appropriate orientation of new interdisciplinary staff by providing opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for program delivery. 4. Maintains completeness and accuracy of clinical data through routine data reporting and data analysis. 5. Implements quality process improvement initiatives to ensure work efficiency and optimize customer satisfaction. 6. Serves on process improvement team and assures departmental involvement as appropriate. 7. Serves as liaison between McConnell Heart Health Center departments and physicians to foster integration to facilitate smooth flow of participants and information. 8. Assists Manager in development of new programs and services. Financial Performance 1. Meets MHHC specific outcomes based on Riverside balanced scorecard as defined by Clinical Manager. 2. Assures cost efficient use of program resources. 3. Monitors and assures accuracy of volumes tracking as well as managing expenses related to the program. Policies, Procedures, Certifications and Regulations: 2. Ensures audit procedures, clinical documentation, clinical billing, JCAHO are completed, reported, evaluated and appropriate changes are made based on findings. 3. Participates in development of policies and procedures and coordinates annual review of departmental policies and procedures. 4. Assures compliance with appropriate regulations and standards of care and quality JCAHO, OSHA, OhioHealth, etc. Professional Development 1. Participates in educational programs and in-services. 2. Assumes responsibility for self-development to meet performances goals, certification and program standard.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Field of Study: health or health related field, Licensure as required by department. 3 - 5 yrs. Experience .
