CCBHC PROJECT DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervisor: Executive Vice President of CCBHC Services
Minimum Qualifications :
• Master’s degree in public health, public administration, social work or related field and a minimum of 2 years of project related management experience or equivalent education and experience. Limited Permit eligible required.
• Knowledge of health service systems in the county
Job Summary: Support the increase in access to and improvement of the quality of community mental health and substance use disorder treatment provided. This role will require the provision of person- and family- centered integrated services and must provide 24/7 access to community-based behavioral and physical health care in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Duties
• The Project Director (PD), will serve as the primary programmatic contact for the State and Federal CCBHC programs and have full and thorough knowledge of the regulations, expectations of operating this type of integrated program
• Maintain knowledge and experience of behavioral health services and service delivery.
• Provide comprehensive oversight and leadership for all aspects of the CCBHC programs in Geneva and Penn Yan, including ensuring progress in the Goals and Objectives.
• Utilize data driven decision making in provision of services and program development.
• Have a strong understanding of a CQI process and data collection, extraction and analysis tools.
• Ensure and report key program requirements, including any delays, barriers/challenges and strategies to overcome these to the regulatory entity in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all reporting requirements are submitted within the required timeframes.
• Assist Outpatient Directors of the CCBHC sites with remediation of elements of service delivery that are below targeted outcomes.
• Train staff to ensure policies, process and workflow remain in place.
• Hold meetings and collaborate with Advisory Council to identify and address emerging issues in the communities served
• Manages administrative tasks related to projects, including office space, equipment, management of documentation. Oversees grant budget and staffing.
• Works with Designated Collaborating Organizations (DCO) to assure ongoing partnership and continuity of care.
• Works with Staff Development to identify, schedule and support training for implementation and expansion of Evidence Based Practices.
• Other duties as assigned
Other Skills/Knowledge and Experience
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Proficiency and advanced skills in MS Excel
3. Demonstrated leadership and management skills including clinical supervision, teaching and administration.
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and multiple service provider agencies.
