Job Summary:
The Co-Director of Residential Services at Maxwell Hall plays a vital leadership role in managing day-to-day operations of the agency’s Part 820 Residential Program. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in program planning, performance, and service delivery while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Co-Director provides oversight of staffing, clinical operations, and performance outcomes, creating a culture of excellence, recovery, and accountability.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Qualified Health Professional (QHP) required.
+ Minimum five (5) years of supervisory and behavioral health experience.
+ CASAC Masters/Advanced strongly preferred.
+ Valid NYS Driver’s License.
+ Strong knowledge of OASAS regulations and Part 820 programming.
Required Skills & Knowledge
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proven leadership, organizational, and administrative abilities.
+ Ability to multi-task, manage crisis situations, and solve problems in a high-paced environment.
+ Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in behavioral health settings.
+ Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Familiarity with local behavioral health and residential care systems.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Program Operations & Compliance:
+ Oversee day-to-day operations of Maxwell Hall, ensuring adherence to clinical programming, staffing patterns, and provider scheduling.
+ Maintain and evaluate standards of practice for program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and FLACRA policies.
+ Participate in the agency’s on-call rotation and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Staff Leadership & Supervision:
+ Provide weekly supervision and ongoing support to direct reports.
+ Coordinate and facilitate team meetings, in-service trainings, and performance evaluations.
+ Manage hiring, onboarding, and development of new staff, including training and orientation checklists.
+ Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that reflects FLACRA’s values.
Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance:
+ Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and in compliance with agency and regulatory expectations.
+ Oversee electronic recordkeeping and clinical workflow management.
+ Monitor progress toward performance goals including length of stay, audit outcomes, and utilization rates.
Reporting & Community Relations:
+ Maintain accurate and timely reporting, including internal program data and external compliance requirements.
+ Build and maintain effective relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and stakeholders.
+ Represent the program and agency in meetings, presentations, and community engagement initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
+ Audit Scores: Maintain target scores in QCA and proactive audits
+ Bed Utilization: Maintain occupancy at or above 93%
+ Length of Stay: Average combined stabilization and rehabilitation stay over 120 days
+ Supervision Scores: Maintain weekly supervision compliance above 90%
+ Staff Vacancy Rate: Maintain below 20%
+ Integrated MDT Meetings: Ensure shift reports reflect equal contributions from all team roles
