    Summary

    This role’s primary responsibility is to operate trucks and deliver various products in & around the Simplot Plant.

     

    _*Important Note* We currently have 4 vacancies available—2 for the Day Shift & 2 for the Night Shift._

    Key Responsibilities

    + Haul, load, and handle products as assigned while maintaining efficiencies, such as fuel and best hauling and loading practices

    + Inspects truck for defects before, during, and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition

    + Must be able to back up and maneuver in and around tight areas

    + Maintains electronic driver log according to DOT regulations

    + Regularly inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water

    Typical Education

    + High School Diploma or General Education (GED)

    + CDL Truck Driver school

    Relevant Experience

    + 1+ years of related experience and/or training

    Required Certifications

    + Must have a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements and a valid DOT Medical Certification
