• Yard Laborer

    Waste Connections (Lacey, WA)


    LeMay, a** **Waste Connections company, is looking for a full time Yard Laborer to join our team in Lacey, WA. This is a full time, long term position with benefits!

     

    The schedule will be Monday – Friday, 7am- 3:30pm. Pay will be around $25-26 per hour, depending on experience.

     

    This is a labor-intensive position requiring regular heavy lifting.

    Responsibilities Include:

    + Litter control and clean up

    + General site cleanliness, maintenance, and organization

    + Variety of general building maintenance tasks

    + Assist with compliance inspections and correct deficiencies

    + Assist with cart and container processes when needed

    + Other tasks and duties as assigned – must be flexible

    Requirements:

    + At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor/operator type position.

    + Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout the entire shift

    + Clean driving record

    + Ability to work independently

    + Ability to safely use basic hand tools and powered hand tools.

    + Ability to safely use outdoor power equipment and outdoor hand tools.

    + Ability to use portable or stationary pressure washer for equipment, site, and building maintenance.

    + Ability to use floor scrubber and/or other means to maintain parking lot cleanliness.

    + Ability to use a forklift when necessary - training provided. (Willing to be trained in fall protection and use of aerial lift equipment preferred but not mandatory.)
