Job Summary

Coordinates the full scope of patient care and data management as it relates to investigational studies in an Inpatient and/or Outpatient setting. This includes patient evaluation and enrollment, direct and indirect patient management, data collection and entry, and long-term follow up.

This person may act as conduit between IRB and Research Center for their assigned studies for some aspects of research.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Minimum Experience Requirements

+ Two years of recent nursing experience

+ Previous clinical research experience, preferred

+ Requires knowledge in nursing, evidence-based practice methods, and person-centered care concepts

+ Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to area of research, preferred

Education Requirement

+ Associate in nursing

License/Certifications Requirement

+ Current state RN license for applicable state of employment or current RN license from a participating state in National Compact Licensure

+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association. Additional certifications may be required (refer to facility addendum(s)

Physical Requirements

Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
