About the Role & Program
Searchlight Pictures is a full-service mini studio within The Walt Disney Studios. Searchlight has dedicated development, acquisitions, marketing, distribution, International, business affairs, physical production, post production, VFX, and television teams. The Business Operations Intern will learn about both Finance & Business Operations as well as make a meaningful contribution to the Searchlight Pictures team. If selected for this role, you will report to the Director, Finance & Business Operations.
What You Will Do
We are looking for an organized and meticulous intern to aid us in our day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with the Director to ensure accurate budgeting/forecasting of Searchlight titles, as well as support business operation and logistics of the Searchlight offices in Burbank, London/UK and NY.
• Manage weekly Searchlight title budget communications, reporting and meetings.
• Coordinate title budget changes with Searchlight Marketing team.
• Organize historical digital files and move BOX files to a shared folder
• Create PowerPoint presentations on financial performance
• Validate monthly marketing/OH cost details for proper coding
• Oversee supply ordering, stocking and daily setup
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with Macros
• System experience with SAP and BOX
Education
+ Graduate Student, pursing an advanced degree
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
+ Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
+ The approximate dates of this internship are mid-January 2026 - June 2026
+ Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship (40 hours per week)
+ This internship is a primarily on-site position -- Must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Burbank, CA area.
The pay rate for this role in Burbank, California is $30.40 per hour.
