Coordinator, Off-Site Testing

Western Kentucky University is pleased to announce we are accepting applications for the position of Coordinator, Off-Site Testing. The successful candidate will report to the Specialist, Distance Learning Testing Centers and will be responsible for administering academic, online learning, placement, and workforce certification/licensure testing, providing a secure environment that conforms to all applicable testing policies and procedures at Western Kentucky University and accrediting organizations providing oversight of specific credentials. Test administration includes registration, fee collection, test setup, results reporting, required paperwork, records retention, and other related duties. The Coordinator, Off-Site Testing will interact with community members, students, faculty, staff, and credentialing organizations.
Responsibilities:
The following duties are customary for this position but may not be all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted, and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.
+ Executes student testing services for WKU Online and On Demand courses and programs (i.e., off-site registration, student inquiries, student complaints, testing infractions reporting, etc.) delivering quality customer service.
+ Oversees telephones and general email accounts.
+ Serves as a contact for off-site testing partners and coordinates activities (i.e., off-site exam requests, satisfaction surveys, Online Learning and On Demand remote proctoring, testing exceptions etc.).
+ Monitors and maintains processes and resources (i.e., maintains accurate and detailed information on off-site testing partners, recertifies off-site partners, Online Learning and On Demand remote proctoring exam administration, archiving procedures, etc.).
+ Executes strategic recruitment plans for distance learning testing services (i.e., recruits off-site testing partners, maintains off-site website information, etc.).
+ Problem solves testing emergencies and troubleshoots computer hardware or software and testing issues with WKU Distance Learning faculty/staff and/or WKU ITS.
+ Cross-trains and assists with admissions, placement, and certification exams.
+ Cross-trains and assists with Distance Learning Testing Center on-site services.
+ Reports any irregularities within the testing offices, centers, and off-site locations.
+ Works Saturdays, weekly evening shifts, and extended testing hours during peak times (example: midterms and finals week)
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills Considered Essential for Success:
+ Knowledge of proctored testing processes and procedures
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ Knowledge of or experience in a postsecondary environment and/or certification testing.
+ The ability to complete mandatory certifications required by this position in a timely fashion.
+ Experience using common office equipment and software (i.e. PC computer, MS Office, copier, scanner, and fax machines).
+ Must have a valid Kentucky driver's license.
+ Working hours may include days, nights, and/or weekends with advance notice.
Additional Information:
Hourly Range: $17.98 - $18.72
