Job Summary

We’re currently seeking a **Senior Director of Food and Nutrition Services** for an 800+ bed acute care hospital. This high-impact role oversees daily foodservice operations and leads a team of 200+ associates and managers. Success in this role hinges on strong client relationship management, operational excellence, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage department operations within budget while maximizing client value

+ Ensure superior food quality for patients, visitors, and staff

+ Lead safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal departments

+ Foster professional growth across the team

+ Integrate dining services with the hospital’s broader operational goals

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred (or Associate’s degree with equivalent experience)

+ Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience

+ 2–4 years of direct foodservice operational management, including inventory and purchasing

+ Strong grasp of food trends, quality standards, sanitation, cost control, and presentation

+ Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services is a plus
