    Position Summary:

    This position is for EPES Transport, LLC, a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Attains and maintains a knowledgeable, professional presentation to drivers of Company’s hiring and orientation process. Act as a source of guidance and answers to drivers throughout the drivers’ experience of getting hired. This is a key role in providing the “red-carpet experience” the Company seeks to maintain.

     

    This position is located in Greensboro North Carolina

     

    Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for obtaining employment verifications in accordance to company policy, obtaining accident reports, reviewing applicable reports and working closely with assigned Driver Recruiter to determine the driver candidate is qualified and ready to invite to orientation.

    • Schedule and arrange orientation for qualified driver applicants.

    • Maintains knowledge of FMCSA regulations, company hiring guidelines and practices, ATS functionality, FMCSA and FCRA requirements.

    • Respond to pre-qualified driver applicants within 24 hours of receipt of applicant file. Maintain contact with drivers up to the point of arrival to orientation.

    • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED required.

    • One plus years of experience in Processing, Admin Assistant, Data entry, and/or customer service experience preferred

    • Fair Credit Report: Knowledgeable about Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulations and compliance requirements.

    • ATS Experience: Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage recruitment processes and candidate databases.

    • FMCSA Regulations: Familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and compliance standards.

    • Exceptional Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed and accurate documentation.

    • Organized: Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

    • Decision Making: Strong decision-making abilities, capable of making informed and timely choices.

    • Prioritizing: Adept at prioritizing tasks to ensure the most critical and time-sensitive activities are completed first.

    • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers as well as Penske associates

    • Ability to use critical thinking to analyze information, communicate appropriately, make decisions within the framework of the SOP, solve problems, evaluate results, and determine if further action is needed.

    • Ability to work First, Second and Third shifts as needed. Flexibility with scheduling required

    • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

    • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background Investigation, (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

    -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
