_About This Role_

In this role, you will be responsible for:

+ Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain electro\-mechanical products, systems, and processes to support new and existing simulation training devices\.

+ Design new component parts, assemblies, and production drawings using 3D CAD software\.

+ Alter and/or modify existing designs to achieve specified functional and operational performance\.

+ Review and evaluate existing mechanical design drawings and specifications\.

+ Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design modifications or new system applications\.

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

+ Solid modeling, Mechanical Drawings, Common fabrication and assembly processes, Structural design fundamentals, Fastening and joining and Engineering lab safety

+ Experience working with CAD software

+ This position requires an individual to be a U\.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
