    Now Hiring: 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate – Order Picker/Assembly

     

    Ready to work for one of the largest U.S. distributors? PDS Tech Commercial, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for our client in Waterloo, IA. This is a 6-month temp to hire position with high potential to be hired on permanently.

     

    **Location:** Waterloo, IA

    **Employment Type:** Temp to Hire - 6 months | On-site

    **Pay:** $23.50/Hourly (weekly pay)

    **Shift:** Monday – Friday 3pm to 11:30pm (Occasional OT)

    **Industry:** Manufacturing / Distribution

    Position Summary:

    This role is essential to the smooth operation of our client’s warehouse, with a focus on order picking, assembly, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have material handling experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to excel in fast paced environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately and safely pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations.

    • Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner.

    • Perform daily transactional tasks using a Labor Management System.

    • Effectively communicate with coworkers and display teamwork in completing task assignments.

    • Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times.

    • Execute tasks using hand-held RF units / scanners or voice units.

    • Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas.

    • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.

    • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

    • Material handling equipment experience preferred, but not required - on order picker PIT consistently lifting 50-70lbs + (heights up to 40 feet).

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

    • Ability to excel in fast-paced environment.

    **Pay Details:** $23.50 per hour
