Key Responsibilities

+ Leads the planning, development, and implementation of evidence-based behavioral health treatment programs.

+ Coordinates development, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required mental health services for incarcerated individuals.

+ Provides clinical supervision to behavioral health staff.

+ Monitors efforts of staff ensure behavioral health services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.

+ Acts as point of contact for corrections administrative staff for discussion of treatment programs and problem resolution as needed.

+ Provides utilization, process, and outcomes-based reports of behavioral health services to stakeholders on a regular basis.

+ Provides consultation and training services to corrections and healthcare personnel and leadership as indicated.

+ May assume direct patient care responsibilities when indicated.

+ Inform behavioral health quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

+ Additional duties as assigned by leadership.

+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

+ Other duties as assigned by management.

Key Qualifications

+ Doctorate in psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.

+ Licensed (or license eligible with application pending) to practice psychology in the state of employment.

+ Minimum of 5 (five) years’ experience administering a mental health program, experience in corrections is preferred.

+ Ability to travel up to 15% to correctional facilities, regional offices, client and/or vendor sites.

+ Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirement.

+ A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
