Chronos Operations, LLC is seeking a **Privacy Analyst I** with a familiarity of cybersecurity and privacy compliance for the Army Materiel Command (AMC), Chief Information Office (CIO). This role is responsible for supporting the organization’s privacy program by assisting in the review and monitoring of controls over confidential and sensitive data.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations and other federal and state laws.
+ Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies, procedures, and standards.
+ Conduct gap analyses to ensure new policies and procedures align with evolving regulatory requirements.
+ Work with security teams to ensure that technical controls for data protection, such as encryption and access controls, are implemented effectively.
+ Maintain documentation for privacy notices, records of processing activities, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Assist in conducting privacy impact assessments and audits.
+ Support data inventory and mapping activities.
+ Help develop and maintain privacy-related communications and training materials.
+ Research applicable privacy laws and regulations.
+ Support privacy awareness and training activities.
+ Respond to basic privacy-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, cyber security or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
+ 4+ years of experience in privacy documentation and support
+ 2+ years of experience in a data privacy, data protection, compliance, or cybersecurity role.
+ Certification in Privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) is highly desirable and preferred.
+ Must have active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS with SCI eligibility
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Possess basic understanding of global privacy laws and regulations.
+ Possess the ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and integrity.
+ Ability to work collaboratively and support senior analysts.
+ Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability.
+ Good work ethic and active desire to learn.
+ Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work both independently and within a team.
+ Ability to meet minimum clearance requirements.
+ Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
+ Ability to travel up to 10%.
