    Chronos Operations, LLC is seeking a **Privacy Analyst III** with a strong background in cybersecurity and privacy compliance for the Army Materiel Command (AMC), Chief Information Office (CIO). This role is responsible for performing highly advanced analysis work to ensure the protection of confidential and sensitive data. The role involves leading strategic privacy initiatives, evaluating data lifecycle processes, conducting privacy assessments, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and integrating with cross-functional teams. This role serves as a subject matter expert and guides the organization’s privacy posture.

    Responsibilities

    + Review and evaluate the lifecycle of confidential and sensitive data (collection, storage, use, transfer, retention, destruction).

    + Conduct privacy risk assessments and internal audits

    + Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies, procedures, and standards.

    + Conduct gap analyses to ensure new policies and procedures align with evolving regulatory req

    + Identify, report, and help implement strategies to mitigate privacy and data protection risks.

    + Work with security teams to ensure that technical controls for data protection, such as encryption and access controls, are implemented effectively.

    + Maintain documentation for privacy notices, records of processing activities, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    + Respond to privacy-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

    + Monitor and analyze privacy-related legislation and regulatory changes.

    + Develop and deliver privacy awareness training and communications.

    + Coordinate privacy programs and facilitate cross-functional privacy initiatives.

    + Draft and send notification letters for privacy violations.

    + Manage privacy metrics and reporting for continuous improvement.

    + Prepare reports and metrics for executive leadership.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to remediate breaches and ensure compliance.

    + Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to ensure the program adapts to evolving security challenges.

    + May supervise others.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, cyber security or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

    + 6+ years of experience in privacy, information security, or compliance roles.

    + 6+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework

    + 4+ years of experience in data privacy, data protection, compliance, or cybersecurity role.

    + Experience with federal systems accreditation (A&A) and FISMA compliance reporting.

    + Certification in Privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) is highly desirable and preferred.

    + Must have active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS with SCI eligibility

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Possess deep and comprehensive knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations.

    + Deep understanding of privacy frameworks and standards.

    + Knowledge of data governance and lifecycle management.

    + Knowledge of privacy risk assessment methodologies, audit processes and compliance reporting.

    + Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability.

    + Good work ethic and active desire to learn.

    + Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.

    + Ability to work both independently and within a team.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

    + Ability to meet minimum clearance requirements.

    + Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

    + Ability to travel up to 10%.
