About the role
This is a temporary (short-term) position responsible for assisting with the procurement of all products and services used by the organization.
Job Duties
+ Assists the Director of Supply Chain in procuring products and services and managing contracts.
+ Performs data entry for Procurement, Inventory, and Contract Management.
+ Follows-up on purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness according to the delivery schedule.
+ Sourcing products.
+ Verifies receipt of goods and services.
+ Monitors for missing or damaged items and assists with follow up for replacement and credit with vendor.
+ Maintains records for adherence to terms, pricing and compliance.
+ Notifies the Director of Supply Chain when price changes occur.
+ Ensures products and services being procured meet customer and industry demands for quality and conformity.
+ Forecasts orders based on demand patterns.
+ Examines historical inventory data.
+ Assists in the RFP/RFQ process.
+ Sorts and files documents for easy retrieval and tracking purposes.
+ Assists in other related areas of material and supply management including the oversight of inventory and supply distribution.
+ Contributes extensively to achieving departmental goals and objectives.

+ Performs additional job duties as assigned and directed.
Job Requirements
+ 2+ years of Procurement, Supply Chain, or Inventory Control experience required. Having the same in the healthcare, hospitality, or retail industry is highly preferred.
+ Would consider new college graduates with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Supply Management, or Merchandising.
+ Understanding of the procurement process and contract administration required.
+ Must be team oriented and possess the ability to work and interact with all levels of team members including management, vendors, and suppliers
+ Demonstrated adherence to confidentiality, integrity, and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
+ Required ability to multi-task while planning and organizing when actively engaged in multiple projects.
+ Must be able to work efficiently under pressure to meet required deadlines.
+ Must be self-motivated, and able to work independently.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
+ Intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
+ Strong math skills required.
+ Must have strong problem-solving skills.
+ Good credit rating required.
+ Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record required.
+ Flexibility to travel independently to other Goodwin Living locations is required.
+ Interest in Supply Chain/Purchasing as a career is preferred
