Production Welder -2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:
Perform general manufacturing processes which may include the following.
+ Work from complex blueprints, sketches, weld symbols, and process sheets to establish procedures and sequence of operations; perform setups of tooling and fixtures, as well as layouts of components to be welded.
+ Identify and/or devise basic tooling.
+ Weldment must meet quality standards.
+ Perform own material handling and follow good housekeeping and safety practices.
+ Maintain welding equipment and work area for a safe and efficient operation.
+ Initiate corrective action to resolve fairly complex problems, and report major malfunctions and continuing difficulties to supervisor.
+ Assist others as directed. Perform other miscellaneous duties as required. .
+ Press buttons, pull levers, or depress pedals to start and operate cutting and slicing machines.
+ Adjust machine controls to alter position, alignment, speed, or pressure.
The position requires the employee to stand and/or sit for long periods and to lift up to 50# frequently.
Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Must have production welding experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate welding proficiency.
